Cathy Hales has been appointed by Australian financial institution Challenger’s fund management business as its new general manager, boutique partnerships, Financial Standard reports. Most recently, she was COO, client relations with Rreef, the real estate investment management business of Deutsche Bank’s asset management division, in New York.
Previously, Hales was associated with Deutsche Asset Management, asset management arm of Deutsche Bank, Colonial First State and wealth management firm BT Financial Group. Challenger offers distribution and marketing, administration and compliance support to 10 boutique managers across a range of asset classes, including inflation-linked bonds, global credit investment, and local and international equities.
