London-based Ashmore Investment Management has boosted its SICAV range by rolling out an emerging market equity fund, Investment Week reports. The Ashmore Emerging Market Equity fund is offering a sterling share class to give U.K. investors direct access.
Ashmore has a range of 10 Luxembourg-domiciled funds including the Emerging Markets Total Return, the Emerging Markets Debt, the Emerging Markets Local Currency Bond and the Emerging Markets Local Markets Currency among others. Ashmore Investment Management managed $58.9 billion in pooled funds, segregated accounts and structured products as on September 30, 2011.
