Real-time financial information and media firm Selerity has appointed Donal Smith as chairman of its board of directors. It has also added Matthew Burkley as a member. The duo brings industry knowledge and experience to help further drive growth.
Smith, a former Selerity board member, is CEO of securities lending and repo data provider Data Explorers. He joined Data Explorers from Thomson Financial’s businesses in Europe and Asia and was previously with the Financial Times Group. Burkley, who joined global provider of energy information for commodity and financial markets Genscape early this year, was previously associated with Thomson Reuters (TR) as CFO, sales and trading, the largest business arm of TR Markets.
