Budapest SE To Add Commod Futures Contracts

The Budapest Stock Exchange is introducing new futures contracts for commodities products.

The Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE) is introducing new futures contracts for commodities products. The new futures products will allow cash settlement for transactions involving mill wheat, feed corn and high oil content sunflower seed from Thursday.

The contract size for each cash settlement transaction will be 25 tonnes instead of 100 tonnes, permitting low-volume trading. The futures grain contracts with cash settlement provide an alternative to small investors shy of commodity market products because of physical delivery.
