Environmental, social and governance (ESG) data from RepRisk, provider of dynamic business intelligence on ESG risks, is now available on SunGard’s global market data terminal MarketMap. The integration with RepRisk will allow users to identify controversial companies across sectors and countries and to compare companies’ ratings with their peers and their sectors. MarketMap users can get ESG indicators free of charge from November 28, adds WatersTechnology.
Daily screening of newspapers, online news pages, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), websites, blogs and governmental agencies will now be offered by MarketMap in 13 languages to help firms identify ESG controversies related to publicly traded companies. The RepRisk Index has also been integrated with MarketMap’s terminal, which analyzes and quantifies this information to provide an indicator for global reputational and financial risks for individual companies and sectors.
