NYSE-listed insurance and reinsurance organization ACE has expanded its technical risks team with the appointment of Steve Baker as regional construction underwriter. He will be in charge of boosting the construction book of business in the Midlands and the South.
Based in Birmingham, Baker will report to Kevin Lutz, U.K. and Ireland technical lines manager. He replaces Andrew Morris, who is joining ACE in Australia. Baker comes to ACE from RSA, provider of security, risk and compliance solutions, where he worked across the Midlands and South regions and had created the construction, power and engineering trading team.
