Finbarr Downing has been hired by U.S. financial services provider State Street Corp. as head of compliance for its international Ireland operations, Asset Servicing Times reports. He will be in charge of the firm’s current compliance team in Kilkenny and the Channel Islands.
Most recently, Downing served Chicago-based financial services firm Northern Trust Corp. as head of fund and regulatory compliance. Formerly, he has been associated with major banks in senior management roles and has specialist qualifications in compliance, fraud prevention and anti-money laundering.
