Skandia Investment Group, international investment manager with headquarters in the U.K., is moving its U.K. staff to London from Southampton, Financial Times reports. The move is a part of the firm’s internal business review, leading to elimination of 13 roles and creation of as many new specialist positions. The firm will offer alternative opportunities where possible to the individuals whose roles have been axed.
The relocation procedure may be completed by the end of 2013. At present, staff of nearly 57 is based in Southampton. The changes will boost the firm’s investment management and distribution capabilities, improve speed to market and continue to deliver high performing investment solutions to its customers, adds Money Marketing.
