Henderson Currency Management Team Quits

Henderson Global Investors’ global head of currency management Bob Arends has quit the asset management firm.

Henderson Global Investors’ global head of currency management Bob Arends has quit the asset management firm, FX Week reports. His exit follows the closure of Henderson Global Currency hedge fund and the Henderson Horizon global currency fund, an absolute-return fund.

Along with Arends, his team comprising portfolio managers Dennis van den Bosch, Bernd Kraan, Brieuc de Hults and Jill Rootsaert, has also quit the firm. Before joining Henderson in 2009, Arends was with Fortis Bank as global head of currency management.
