UBS Wealth Management Americas (UBS WMA) has added Ajay Desai to its Private Wealth Management (PWM) office in Chicago. The group’s senior vice presidents John Staab and Frank Pellicori have also joined the firm along with Desai, The DeSai Group’s managing director and private wealth adviser. Desai and his team come to UBS from Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, where Desai was a managing director and private wealth adviser. He has also been with Merrill Lynch & Co.‘s Private Banking and Investment Group. Desai has also managed a technology-focused hedge fund, co-founded a cash management firm and been a consultant with Anderson Consulting.
