Barclays Bank plc has appointed Andrew Richards as head of financial sponsor for Asia-Pacific (Apac), Bloomberg reports. He will work from the U.K. financial services provider’s Hong Kong office.
Richards joins from New York–based securities firm Morgan Stanley, where he was most recently a managing director of European financial sponsors group. He also directed Bain Capital’s takeover of Bellsystem24 in 2009 and Lion Capital’s takeover of French frozen-food retailing firm Picard Surgeles.
