Swiss tech firm LPO Ventures has teamed up with U.K. regulated fund Autumn Capital Partners to open its online platform FirstPEX to investors beyond Switzerland into the U.K. and Europe, Reuters reports. European small and midsize enterprises (SMEs) suffering from cash insufficiency will now have a new channel to avail funding.
The platform will offer European investors an opportunity to participate and invest in fast-growing private companies. FirstPEX consists of more than 100 European companies and investors, but the investor segment was thus far limited to Swiss entities.
