Eaton Vance Investment Counsel (EVIC), an Eaton Vance Management division, has appointed David McCabe as president. He replaces G. West Westy Saltonstall, who will continue with EVIC as president emeritus. McCabe, former client portfolios manager at investment banking firm Cowen & Co., joined EVIC in December 2005 as an investment counselor after it acquired Voyageur Asset Management, of which he was president.
EVIC offers investment counsel services and custom wealth management solutions to high net worth individuals, families and institutions. Eaton Vance Management is a wholly owned affiliate of U.S. investment management firm Eaton Vance Corp.
