TCG Real Estate, the Chatterjee Group’s holding company, intends to float a second fund with a minimum corpus of $300 million, Mint reports. The firm plans to garner funds for the vehicle, which will allocate to residential and commercial projects, on its own but may look for a strategic collaborator later.

Both a domestic as well as an overseas fund are on the anvil but the company is more focused on plans for the overseas vehicle. The firm’s existing India Property Fund, a joint venture with U.S.-based Vornado Realty Trust, recently deployed $38 million in two housing projects in Mumbai, India.
