Cerf Receives Lilly Endow Grant

The Community Economic Relief Fund of Central Indiana, U.S., has received an additional $2.2 million in grants.

The Community Economic Relief Fund (Cerf) of Central Indiana, U.S., has received an additional $2.2 million in grants, Indystar.com reports. Of this amount, Lilly Endowment gave $2 million and Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust put in $117,000.

The Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation contributed $100,000 towards the latest Cerf grant. The monies are in addition to these bodies’ regular contributions to the annual campaign of the United Way of Central Indiana. The fund, managed by United Way, is used to provide aid to local families facing financial problems.
