BofA In Talks To Hire Ex-Wind CEO

The second-largest U.S. lender by assets Bank of America Corp. is in discussions to hire former Italian telecom operator Wind Telecomunicazioni’s CEO Luigi Gubitosi.

The second-largest U.S. lender by assets Bank of America Corp. (BofA) is in discussions to hire former Italian telecom operator Wind Telecomunicazioni’s CEO Luigi Gubitosi, Bloomberg reports. BofA is looking to bolster its presence in Italy and is also is in talks with other candidates as well.

Gubitosi, who was Wind’s CEO for more than 5 years, has also worked at Italy’s biggest carmaker Fiat Group Automobiles as CFO. BofA’s southern Europe head Maurizio Tamagnini had left the firm in September.
