THIRD TEAM Gabriel Moreen  BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research

Gabriel Moreen falls from first place to third but continues to win praise from clients, who say he is “smart and honest” and “well aware of the market environment before making any investment proposition.” The BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research analyst upgraded Oneok Partners from neutral to buy in May 2010, at a split-adjusted $26.76, encouraged by the Tulsa, Oklahoma–based company’s well-hedged natural-gas-liquids position and attractive natural-gas-liquids asset base. In mid-July 2011, after the stock had bolted 61.6 percent, to $43.24, and bested the sector by 28.5 percentage points, Moreen downgraded it to neutral, on valuation. The stock has been flat since then, closing August at $43.46.
