High-yield bond funds witnessed inflows of $4.7 billion for the week ended October 26, Reuters reports. The funds gained risk appetite grew over optimism about an arrangement to contain the euro zone debt crisis and positive U.S. economic data.

Inflows in the previous week had been approximately $3 billion. Global equity funds saw $2.8 billion in cash after four weeks of outflows. Global-tracked emerging-market equity funds were back at levels achieved in the first week of July, but focused emerging Asia or Latin America still witnessed withdrawals.
