Principal Financial Group’s global asset management firm Principal Global Investors has hired Wassim Nasrallah as managing director, head of Middle East, CPI Financial reports. He will manage the firm’s business development and marketing efforts from the newly established Dubai office.
Nasrallah will join the firm from alternative investment solutions provider Gottex Fund Management, where he was managing director in charge of business development and marketing in the Middle East. Principal Global will now be able to cater to institutional investors, pension plan sponsors and sovereign wealth fund customers in the Middle East and is eying Gulf Cooperation Council nations.
