Jose De La Lama has been recruited by Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) for its Miami office, Reuters reports. Most recently, he worked with brokerage and investment banking provider Morgan Keegan & Co. as an adviser. BAML provides comprehensive market, industry, product and advisory expertise to over 140,000 businesses globally.
At Morgan Keegan, Lama was based in Coral Gables, Florida for six years. He is among the approximately 1,200 brokers who have exited the private client group of the firm after Regions Financial Corp. put it on the block.
