Glencore International has appointed Andrew Kelleher as head of its U.S. oil group, Bloomberg reports. He will join the Swiss integrated producer and marketer of commodities in the beginning of 2012.
Kelleher joins Glencore from New York–based global financial services firm JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he was most recently a managing director. Previously, he was president of supply and trading at ConocoPhillips, the third-largest integrated energy company in the U.S. and the fifth-largest refiner in the world.
