Matthew Wotton has joined U.K. global wealth manager Barclays Wealth, Citywire reports. He will oversee the Barclays sports, media and entertainment (SME) division.
Wotton will work along with regional directors covering 16 Barclays towns to introduce wealth solutions to sports stars across the country. Before joining Barclays, he was head of relationship management team for the global sports group at Swiss lender HSBC Private Bank, provider of private banking and trustee services to wealthy individuals and their families worldwide, where he served for 13 years in various positions.
