Saudi Arabia May Set Up Commodities Bourse

Saudi Arabia is considering setting up a commodities bourse.

Saudi Arabia is considering setting up a commodities bourse, Emirates24/7 reports. After Dubai’s commodities exchange, it could be the region’s second major commodities bourse.

The country may also establish a company with a capital of approximately $266 million in the near future to operate the bourse. The plan has been approved by the Ministry of Finance and will be put up for monarchical endorsement.
