ICI Names Chairman

The Investment Company Institute’s board of governors has selected Gregory Johnson as chairman for a one-year term.

The Investment Company Institute’s (ICI) board of governors has selected Gregory Johnson as chairman for a one-year term. He will head the board of governors, the governing body of the institute and the executive committee of the board. Johnson is Franklin Resources president and CEO. John Hancock Financial Services president James Boyle, Dimensional Fund Advisors general counsel Catherine Newell and Oppenheimer Funds independent director Mary Ann Tynan have also been elected as board members.
