Cowen and Co., the broker dealer platform of Cowen Group, has named Jeffrey Solomon as CEO. He will manage all of the U.S. lender’s businesses including investment banking, capital markets, sales and trading and research.
Solomon will be assisted by a team including Chris McCabe, Kevin Raidy, Kevin Reynolds, John O’Donoghue, Tom O’Mara and Barry Tarasoff. Previously, Solomon was COO of Cowen Group and head of investment banking at Cowen and Co.
