Warburg Pincus is in discussions to acquire Norway-based Europris for approximately €400 million to €500 million.

Warburg Pincus is in discussions to acquire Norway-based Europris for approximately €400 million to €500 million, Financial Times reports. The transaction is being managed by J.P. Morgan and SEB. Europris runs over 180 stores in Norway and six in Iceland. It was established in 2004 by IK Investment Partners, a Nordic private equity firm, via the merger of three Norway-based businesses.
