Pacific Investment Management Co. (Pimco) has rolled out a global multi-asset fund, Financial Times reports. The Pimco Select Global Multi Asset fund will be managed by CEO and co-CIO Mohamed El-Erian. The fund will invest in equities, bonds, commodities, real estate and inflation-linked bonds.
Curtis Mewbourne, who is responsible for relative value strategies, and Vineer Bhansali, who is in-charge of tail-risk management, will help in running the fund. The product will also seek to manage risk by hedging investment strategies using internal funds, individual securities and exchange-traded funds across the asset class spectrum, adds Investment Week.
