Ford Foundation Adds Board Members

The Ford Foundation Board of Trustees has added two new members to its board.

The Ford Foundation Board of Trustees has added two new members to its board. The newly elected members are Martin Eakes and Tim Berners-Lee.

Eakes co-founded and leads a community development lender Self-Help which has financed more than 60,000 homebuyers, lending some $6 billion. He also founded the Center for Responsible Lending and has built a network of credit unions in North Carolina and California with over $900 million in assets. Berners-Lee is director of the World Wide Web Consortium and of the Web Science Trust and is founder of the World Wide Web Foundation.
