The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (Finra) has selected Gerri Walsh head of its investor education subsidiary and president of the Finra Investor Education Foundation. He succeeds John Gannon in the both the roles.
Joining in 2006, Walsh was earlier vice president and deputy director of investor education division of Finra. Previously, he was deputy director of the Securities and Exchange Commission‘s Office of Investor Education and Advocacy.
