BlackRock has unveiled an absolute-return bond fund, Financial Times reports. The BlackRock Corporate Bond fund will seek to get positive returns regardless of the market outlook by employing a series of corporate and sovereign fixed-income and currency strategies.
The new vehicle aims to offer positive absolute returns over the market cycle by finding the best risk-adjusted returns available across the complete spectrum of fixed-income markets and strategies. Ian Winship is managing the fund.
