Aviva Investors has hired Patrick Chong as head of Asia Pacific’s financial institutions business development (BD), Global Pensions reports. He will manage development and execution of the firm’s business development strategy for the financial institutions sales channel in Singapore and Asia-Pacific.
Based in Singapore, Chong will work under Erich Gerth, CEO Asia Pacific and global business development. Most recently, he served as senior vice president, BD, at Fullerton Fund Management. Before that, Patrick was with Temasek Holdings and the Singapore Economic Development Board.
