BlackRock Sterling FI Head Joins Western AM

BlackRock’s sterling fixed income head Paul Shuttleworth has left the asset management firm.

BlackRock’s sterling fixed income head Paul Shuttleworth has left the asset management firm, Financial Times reports. He has joined Pasadena, California–based bond fund manager Western Asset Management (Western AM).

At Blackrock, Shuttleworth’s position has been assumed by Ian Winship, who is also manager of recently launched Absolute Return Bond fund. Shuttleworth was with London-based Legal & General as manager of L&G Fixed Interest Trust before moving to investment adviser Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, which was bought by BlackRock.
