Nomura Names Structured Lending Head

Tokyo-based global investment bank Nomura Holdings has named Munish Varma as its global head of structured lending and special situations.

Tokyo-based global investment bank Nomura Holdings has named Munish Varma as its global head of structured lending and special situations. Credit market expert Varma will be in charge of providing customized financial solutions to the bank’s public and private sector customers.

Based in London, Varma will be reporting to Georges Assi, global head of credit products and co-head of fixed-income Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Kieran Higgins, co-head of fixed-income EMEA. Before joining Nomura, Varma was with Frankfurt-based Deutsche Bank as head of its global markets business in India.
