Icahn Pays $118M For Navistar Stake

Billionaire investor Carl Icahn has picked up a 9.8 percent stake in military truck and recreational vehicle manufacturer Navistar International Corp.

Billionaire investor Carl Icahn has picked up a 9.8 percent stake in military truck and recreational vehicle manufacturer Navistar International Corp., The Wall Street Journal reports. He has paid a total of $118.1 million for the acquisition, starting August 23.

As a part of the deal, Icahn purchased 7.1 million shares of Navistar International. He also has been in talks with the Navistar management for adding board members. Icahn holds a stake in another truck maker Oshkosh Corp., adds Reuters.
