London-based investment management and investment services company Bank of New York Mellon Corp. (BNY Mellon) has appointed Jim McEleney as COO for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In his new role, McEleney will manage the regional governance framework on behalf of all BNY Mellon businesses in EMEA and will also handle the management of BNY Mellon’s deals with EMEA regulators. Previously, McEleney was associated with BNY Mellon’s operations in Pune as CEO and a member of Asia-Pacific working committee. He joined BNY Mellon as a financial analyst in 1987. Before BNY Mellon, he served at global performance-driven investment management firm Boston Co. Asset Management.
