BofA Restructures Retail, Mortgage Roles

Bank of America Corp. has reorganized its retail banking and mortgage leadership team.

Bank of America Corp. (BofA) has reorganized its retail banking and mortgage leadership team, The Wall Street Journal reports. As part of the restructuring, president of home loans Barbara Desoer will focus on integrating home loans into consumer and small-business banking.

Responsibility for the mortgage business will be handed over to two other executives. Susan Faulkner, in charge of products in consumer and small business, will now also oversee home-loan products, and Dean Athanasia, who runs banking for preferred and small businesses, will have additional charge of managing home loan sales. Various other business leaders were given new roles.
