Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) has appointed Richard Pursglove as head of U.K. third-party distribution unit to strengthen its sales among discretionary managers and fund of funds, Investment Week reports. Pursglove will work under Nick Phillips, head of third-party distribution in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
He will head a group of nine sales and marketing individuals selling GSAM’s equity, fixed-income and money market strategies, with £7.1 billion under management in the U.K. Previously, Pursglove has served at U.S. investment management business Gartmore Group as U.K. retail head.
