New Jersey Division of Investments, Trenton, is planning to invest $1.49 billion in new investments, Pensions & Investments reports. The division, with $66.4 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30, could pledge up to $200 million each to private equity firm TPG Capital’s New Jersey/TPG NPLs Commercial and Residential, and hedge fund managers Brevan Howard and Elliott Associates. The division is also looking to invest up to $150 million each to Wheelock Street Real Estate Fund and U.S.-based opportunistic real estate fund ValueAct Capital Partners II. Also, AnaCap Credit Opportunities II could secure $110 million and TPG Opportunities Partners II, Sterling Capital Partners IV and Winton Futures Fund could see up to $100 million in investments.
