Comcast Ventures, the venture capital affiliate of Comcast Corp., has appointed Tina Warner as head of communications. Based in the firm’s San Francisco office, she will head strategic communications as well as will work with partners and portfolio companies to drive growth in their marketing and branding initiatives. Before joining Comcast Ventures, Warner was vice president of communications at Chegg Inc., a social education platform. She has also held senior-level roles at companies, including Microsoft Corp., online dating company Match.com, Publicis and Waggener Edstrom Worldwide.
