BC Partners has achieved its target of raising €6 billion at the third close of its latest fund, Financial News reports. The European buyout firm, which began raising the fund in September 2010, is still looking to raise more money.
The firm has set an upper limit of €6.5 billion for its fundraising. BC Partners achieved the second close on more than €5.5 billion in July and a €4 billion first close in March.
