RAF Picks First Executive Director

Carl Hicks has been appointed as the first executive director of non-profit charitable organization Recreational Aviation Foundation.

Carl Hicks has been appointed as the first executive director of non-profit charitable organization Recreational Aviation Foundation (RAF). Hicks, a retired U.S. Army airborne ranger officer, is currently chairman of the board of non-profit Pulmonary Hypertension Association.

Hicks has previously served at Washington-based residential neighborhood Capitol Hill and also held several COO and CEO positions nationally. RAF aims at preservation, maintenance and creation of safe recreational airfields.
