Banco Itau BBA, the wholesale division of Itau Unibanco Holding, has appointed Marcelo Marangon to manage a new unit of the company, Bloomberg reports. The company’s recently created unit serves very large corporations. Before joining Banco Itau, Marangon was the head of global banking in Brazil for HSBC Holdings. Meanwhile, Solange Vieira, ex-president of Brazil’s civil aviation agency, has also joined Banco Itau to head its project finance unit.
