Axioma has hired Ian Webster as managing director, Europe. Webster will head the company’s efforts to raise the rate of Axioma’s market share in Europe and will manage the expanding global indexing initiatives. Webster will take up his new role from Olivier d’Assier, who served as MD for Europe as well as for Asia-Pacific since 2008. Webster will join decision support and performance attribution tools provider from UBS Global Asset Management, where he was global head of data management and corporate actions.
