Bain To Buy Nomura’s Skylark For $3.4B

U.S. private equity firm Bain Capital is in final discussions to buy Japanese restaurant chain Skylark Co. for approximately $3.4 billion.

U.S. private equity firm Bain Capital is in final discussions to buy Japanese restaurant chain Skylark Co. for approximately $3.4 billion, The Wall Street Journal reports. The restaurant chain will be sold by Nomura Holdings.

Bain Capital began negotiating with Nomura Principal Finance to acquire Skylark late last year. Skylark was established in 1970 and has approximately 3,680 outlets in Japan and overseas.
