U.K global wealth manager Barclays Wealth has boosted its Strategic Solutions Group (SSG). Amaury Hendrickx, former global private equity director at Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity, will be director in the SSG and manage its Investment Club proposition which offers clients strategic unlisted equity investment and customized co-investment opportunities. It has also appointed Jad Fadl as vice president in the SSG to offer technical and specialist product knowledge and serve as the interface between IBD/corporate professionals and Barclays Wealth bankers and clients. He joins from U.S. financial services corporation Citigroup. The duo will be reporting to SSG head Solomon Soquar in London.
