The Depository Trust & Clearing Corp. (DTCC) has appointed James Odell as its first deputy general counsel. Odell will be chief legal adviser to the general counsel and the primary legal adviser to DTCC’s senior business leaders. He will be reporting to managing director and general counsel Larry Thompson. Previously, Odell was general counsel at UBS Investment Bank and responsible for legal and compliance staff for its investment bank in the Americas and for all operations in Latin America.
