The Calgary Homeless Foundation has selected Steve Snyder as chairman of its board of directors. He is replacing Tim Hearn, who served as board chairman since April 2008. The duo has been with the Calgary Committee to End Homelessness, where Snyder chaired the committee and Hearn chaired the sub-committee on housing. Snyder is currently president and CEO of TransAlta Corp. and will retire at the end of 2011.
