Coca-Cola Foundation Grants For Disaster-Hit

The Coca-Cola Foundation has given more than $1.6 million to nonprofit organizations in the U.S. and Canada.

The Coca-Cola Foundation has given more than $1.6 million to nonprofit organizations in the U.S. and Canada. The endowment from the foundation will help the affected communities in disaster relief efforts. The assistance includes $875,000 for education and youth development programs, $150,000 for community programs and $150,000 for community recycling efforts. The Apollo Theater Foundation, Latin American Association, the Gameday Healthy Kids Foundation and La Mama Experimental Theatre Club are some of the organizations getting the grants.
