BlackRock Appoints Bond Fund Co-Manager

BlackRock has appointed Scott Thiel as co-manager for its global bond fund.

BlackRock has appointed Scott Thiel as co-manager for its global bond fund, FundWeb reports. He will replace Andrew Gordon, who is retiring this year-end.

Thiel has joined the fund alongside co-manager Yoni Saposh. Thiel, a managing director and head of the European and non-U.S. fixed-income group, is also deputy CIO of fixed income for fundamental portfolios and has been with BlackRock since 2002.
