Blackstone Group has appointed Yi Luo as a senior managing director for China, Reuters reports. Based in Shanghai, he will work under Michael Chae, Asia head for Blackstone Group. Yi will replace Ben Jenkins, who is leaving Asia after spending more than four years in the region and will remain with the New York–based buyout firm through the year-end. Yi joins the private equity firm from Carlyle Group, where he was managing director.
